Green Majority is a 501(c)(4) nonprofit organization formed to build political and civic power around one truth: our survival is on the ballot. We organize at the intersection of environmental collapse and systemic injustice—mobilizing communities too often abandoned in times of crisis and left out of decisions that shape their future.

We know that climate change is not just a planetary issue—it is a political one. From polluted air and poisoned water to eroded housing and abandoned infrastructure, the most dangerous impacts of climate breakdown are disproportionately borne by Black, Brown, Indigenous, rural, and low-wealth communities. At The Green Majority, we fight back by turning those communities into the organizing force at the center of every solution.

Our campaigns are rooted in environmental survival, racial equity, and grassroots power. We don’t wait for policy to catch up—we pressure, educate, endorse, and organize until the people most impacted are also the ones leading and deciding. Our work includes issue-based voter engagement, policy accountability, frontline storytelling, and political organizing around clean water, flooding, toxic pollution, and more.

As a 501(c)(4), The Green Majority leads civic and political advocacy campaigns. We work alongside—but separately from—our sister organization, Democracy Green (a 501(c)(3)), which focuses on nonpartisan environmental education, service delivery, and community health initiatives.

We commit to organizing with integrity, advocating with urgency, and centering communities that have been historically silenced. We do not wait for justice to be handed down — we build it block by block, vote by vote, voice by voice.
